Jeanfilip
Gianluigi Filippini, Jeanfilip in art, born in 1962, is one of the most interesting impressionist artists on the national scene.
The artist lives and works in Varese province where he attends an art school; he accompnies his studies with different exhibitions and collective shows.
After a deep artistical maturation he gives up figurative painting and at this point a clear mutation happens: in a cubist key of decomposition of shapes first, and then in a stronger impressionist mould of compositions, where the equilibrium between colour and shape makes his paintings live in the extreme suggestion.
Lines and colours are the absolute leading actors in his works: sinuous lines are alternated by a dynamic hatch of colour and different cromatism.
The watcher is almost overwhelmed by the colour, sometimes so melting, sometimes so real, so thick especially in its meaning.
The slackness of blue and white colours is alternated by yellow and fiery red ones that is the real emblem of joy to live; the artist's search to express himself using his art. Classical canvases are sometimes replaced by different supports, such as acetate, wood or aluminium.
As soon as Jeanfilip is an attentive and sensible observer of the reality, he succeeds to give us a kaleidoscopic lens of colours through which we can work out again the world that surrounds us.
A conscious use of this technique, a mature artistical experience and a strong sensibility make Jeanfilip a full up artist capable to master different techniques obtaining always surprising results.
