Hong Huynh was born in Da Nang, Viet Nam. She came to the United States for school in 2007 and graduated from Silver Lake College, Manitowoc, Wisconsin, U.S.A in 2011 with 2 majors: Biology and Studio Art. Her artistic interest began at the early age of ten and became a burning desire through her schooling and guided her to a passionate painting career.
In 2011, Huynh held her first art exhibit including 30 works of art in oil and acrylic. The artshow was successful in terms of gaining attention of the public in and outside the town. She was recognized in the Dean's lists of the last three semesters and won the 2nd prize of Freddy Award at Silver Lake College in 2011. She was also nominated for the "Who's Who among American Universities and Colleges Students' Scholarship, U.S.A" in the same year.
In 2015, she held a private exhibit of 42 paintings in Brisighella, Italy.
Huynh currently lives in Italy, working in oils and occasionally acrylics." Art is my being as a personal contemplation and concentration to capture my surroundings and then connect my within so that I convey the authenticity of the topics."
